Yoru no machi wa tsumetai neWhoa, over a month of not putting up any updates? I'm really sorry! But I got caught up with a lot of bad things that were happening to me lately... (those who read my other blog would probably know). Anyway, I'm back, alive and well so don't worry! I'll be posting up my thoughts as usual... and it looks like I have some questions that I have to answer in my other posts. If you guys who commented and asked your questions have already gotten your answers! Good for you! But I'll be answering them here anyway. ^^
While the first season of Tsubasa has finally ended (yup, I'll be giving my thoughts about it after this) the manga is still going on with Volume 12 out last month. It depends on which would you prefer Summerfrost. At the moment, you can only get your hands on the manga, but unless you live in a world where you can get bootlegged anime, then you can go out and get the anime. In anycase, it all depends on you. Both the manga and anime will end around 2007. @__@ Yes, 2007. My preference? The manga. But be prepared to spend a lot. Even the anime will cost you.
And an anonymous person asked where did I find the bootlegged version of Tsubasa in Malaysia. You can actually find them in most video shops now... I went to Anime Tech in Sunway Pyramid and found it there. I also found it in the most greatest anime shop I've ever been in Petaling street (I recommend you go there if you want some really cheap anime). I even found it in Video Ezy in USJ but nyaa... that's close to my house. Either way, just keep your eyes peeled. You're bound to find it. ^^
The Tsubasa first season has finally ended. Going through the episodes once more, I realised how different the anime is from the manga. As much as the anime has some really good moments, when it comes down to storyline, the manga feels much smoother. The anime can feel really draggy so I suggest you try to watch this series all together rather than weekly because it can feel pretty long even though it's only 26 episodes. What I find interesting about the anime most though is how they try to put in a lot of Syaoran and Sakura moments in it. More than the manga! I really like most of them (which S+S fan wouldn't?) but sometimes I wonder if they're revealing too much on this relationship. After all, Sakura isn't supposed to know about her relationship with Syaoran, but at the end of the series I kinda feel like Sakura knows... but she's keeping mum about it because she isn't sure or something inside her tells her to keep it quiet just in case...
Overall, I'm finding the manga more interesting. I've only downloaded till chapter 96 though... Haven't got the time to download 97 (which is out) and all I can say is that we finally get to see some development going on after many chapters of just seeing the Tsubasa gang working hard to get Sakura's feather. And I actually realized how hot Kurogane is. He's definitely garnered another fan. ^^
In the meantime, I have been watching some other animes as well. I watched 16 episodes of Tokyo Underground and am finding it interesting. Though I heard the ending will suck... >_< Ah well, I still love the openings and endings of this series. You should at least look out for that. ^^
I finally watched 'Advent Children', one of the Final Fantasy movies. I got quite confused on most parts... though I find the animation quite spectacular! And the background music is just amazing! Now, if only I can understand what the heck is going on... (Note: I don't play Final Fantasy. At all. Yes, I'm lame. ^^)
Ooo... and I'm now watching Samurai Deeper Kyo. I've seen the manga a couple of times but I never really got into it. But after watching the anime, I'm loving this series more and more. Got a nice opening and ending, too! Though I always laugh whenever I hear the singer sing the 'Engrish' parts. ^^
But I've put the series on hold for a moment. Why? Cause I finally got Full Metal Alchemist the full box version!!! Of course, it's bootlegged but I'm so desperate to watch it! My sister gave it to me as a belated birthday present! The only flaw with this bootlegged box is that all the openings and endings have been cut off. ;____; Darn! And you know how obsessed I am with the openings and endings of every anime!
Ah well... that's all I have at the moment. Thanks to all of you who read this blog and feel free to comment! Oh, and do you think I should put up a tagboard here? Just a thought...
Take care and God bless!
