Omoshirokatta! ^.^
I've finally done downloading all of the episodes of Full Moon wo Sagashite and all I can say is this... everything, and I mean everything about it was FABULOUS!!! From the music, the story line and characters... just beautiful.
As much as I'd like to review, I am so afraid of giving out spoilers. And though it is possible for me to make a review without giving any, I feel like it would not do justice to the anime. Yes, it is that good. All my predictions of what might happen did NOT happen. It was just fantastic... I'd recommend it to those who love music, romance, drama and comedy. A definite shoujo anime.
I borrowed a Studio Ghibli anime from Mel called 'Whisper of the heart' and found it so.... fascinating. The one thing I love about Studio Ghibli is that although there's a lot of fantasy moments, there will be other moments to pull you straight into reality. Petty things like how they do their chores, simple movements, all taken to accord to create something brilliant.
No wonder 'Spirited away' was a success.
Well, 'Whisper of the heart' had a very simple storyline, of a girl who loved to read and translate English songs to Japanese (Hey, something like me! Except I translate Japanese to English...). After meeting this certain boy whom she had realised had been reading the same books as she is, she realises the importance of reaching towards you dreams and achieving them.
Sigh... it was such a sweet story...
Well, guess what? I won second place for my Tsubasa fanfiction in Hitsuzen! I'm so happy that my fic won something. (I admit, it wasn't my best... some of my best ones re in ff.net so...) Cheers!
